Many building exhaust fans have no means of heat recovery, especially for small dedicated exhaust.
The Heat Pump ERV Exhaust fans replace traditional fans and incorporate both ERV heat recovery cores and additional integrated heat pumps. The recovered energy is returned to the building through central or distributed air handling units by way of return or fresh air ducting.
Field connections are small diameter round duct. Fans range from 180-650 CFM and up to 10kW heat recovery capability at COP over 5 in heating and over 3.5 in cooling.
